Legacy was one of the first cows brought to the farm. She has a beautiful smooth coat and clear eyes. She is an excellent mama and typically very protective of her calves (seen here with 2018 heifer calf, Flicka).
Legacy is very vocal and highly food motivated. She isn’t the leader of the herd, but she seems to consider herself a boss.
As of June 2024, Legacy has provided our farm with several fantastic calves including former herd sire Premiere. Her genetics are incredibly strong and her bulls are always fantastic in stature, with several having been sold to other Belted Galloway farmers.
